CHANTAL CURMI:
THE SYSTEMS & GROWTH POWERHOUSE
Chantal Curmi’s career began under the spotlight — performing on world stages with Kylie Minogue, Ricky Martin, and Geri Halliwell, and dancing regularly on TV shows such as The Voice, Australia’s Got Talent, and The X Factor. With a Diploma in Screen Acting, and credentials as a Master Trainer & Performing artist, Chantal built her career on both artistry and education, giving her the skills to perform, teach, and lead at the highest level.
But her biggest stage came not under the lights — it was co-founding her Studio. What started with just three students in a local scout hall quickly grew into a thriving, profitable studio with hundreds of dancers, thanks to Chantal’s strength in systems, structure, and administration. Her ability to combine creative passion with sharp business strategy set her apart as a leader in the dance industry.
As both a teacher and studio owner, Chantal has experienced firsthand the challenges studios face: balancing growth, training teachers, and keeping students engaged. That’s why she was determined to create change. Together with Samson, she co-founded Lil Groovers — now a suite of seven unique preschool programs — designed to free up studio owners, empower teachers with confidence, and give kids the most engaging start to their dance journey.
As The Systems & Growth Powerhouse, Chantal believes the strongest studios are built on solid foundations. Her mission is to help owners and teachers build sustainable systems, expand their knowledge, and create thriving studios where children grow in confidence and love of movement.
SAMSON SMITH:
THE CREATIVE PROGRAM HEAVYWEIGHT
Samson Smith’s journey from a 12-year-old representing New Zealand at Battle of the Year in Germany to touring the world with global superstars is nothing short of extraordinary. As a founding member of Justice Crew, Samson helped shape Australian music history — topping charts with multi-platinum hits like Boom Boom and Que Sera, and performing on stages with icons including Janet Jackson, One Direction, Chris Brown, Pitbull, and Jay Sean.
But behind the lights and platinum records lies Samson’s true passion: teaching and creating programs that change lives. For over two decades, he’s mentored young people as both a youth worker and an artist, using dance as a vehicle for confidence, belonging, and growth.
As a studio owner and teacher, Samson understands both sides of the studio experience — what it takes to lead a thriving business, and what teachers need in the room to deliver their very best. That insight has driven him to build programs that empower studios and expand teachers’ knowledge, making dance more accessible and sustainable for everyone.
What started with the world’s first preschool hip hop curriculum has now grown into a suite of seven unique preschool programs, each designed to inspire children through movement while supporting studios with ready-to-use tools, training, and creative resources.
As The Creative Programming Powerhouse, Samson doesn’t just choreograph routines. He develops systems, experiences, and communities that help studios grow, teachers shine, and kids build confidence that lasts a lifetime.
